What if you felt confident to lead in any situation?
The talent needed to influence, innovate and inspire is randomly distributed in the population, but the support to develop this talent into effective performance is not. Our mission is to help people build the competence and confidence to meet the myriad leadership opportunities, and challenges, that surround them.
Mastery of the art of leadership is rapidly becoming a critical competency in advancing the work of any organization. We believe that learning to lead is every person’s birthright and should be an entirely common practice. We work to build stronger communities under the assumption that citizenship and leadership are closely linked.
Dan is a Certified Master Facilitator of The Leadership Challenge Workshop, one of the world’s premier leadership development programs. He has used this curriculum to create hundreds of learning events from an hour to six months in length.
From his first association with the Leadership Challenge as a ropes course guide in 1987 to leading workshops for a diverse portfolio of organizations now, Dan’s goal has always been to awaken participants to their leadership potential and help them put it to use in bringing forth the future they desire.
Dan often pairs his expertise in workshop delivery with one-on-one coaching by utilizing each participant's Leadership Practices Inventory assessment. The LPI report provides a framework that invites a deep exploration of the participant's leadership behaviors and their potential to become more effective at guiding others.
Dan is also the author of The Leadership Challenge Vision Book, one element of the Leadership Challenge Workshop materials. This hands-on workbook provides a process for developing a clear picture of an ideal future and how to communicate it effectively to those who can help implement it.
